Docks Built for the Way You Use the Water

Wood, composite, aluminum & floating docks — plus repairs and decking replacement.

A dock is your front door to the water. We design and build custom docks and piers — wood-framed, composite, aluminum, and floating — around your boat, your slip, and how you actually use the bay. We also repair, maintain, and re-deck existing docks.

From composite and wolf decking to classic timber and aluminum grating, we build docks that are easy to step onto, boat-lift ready, and built for the tides. As an authorized EZ-Dock dealer, we also install modular floating dock systems.

Based in Brigantine, we handle docks in Brigantine and across the South Jersey shore, including Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Ocean City, and Absecon.

Built for the Brigantine back bay

Brigantine’s back bay has a real tidal swing, so a dock has to work at high water and at dead-low. We set the height, the gangway, and the slip depth around your boat and your tide range so getting on the water is easy every day of the season.

Salt, sun, and marine growth are hard on the wrong materials. We build with composite and marine-grade lumber that shrugs off the conditions and still looks great after a decade on the water.

What to expect

  1. Consult & measure: We look at your slip, water depth, and boat, and talk through fixed vs. floating and decking options.
  2. Permits & design: We design the dock around your bay and budget, and help you through the borough and NJDEP permits you’ll obtain.
  3. Build: We set the piles, frame it, and lay the decking — clean job site throughout.
  4. Done: Ladders, cleats, and any lift or gangway go in, and your dock is ready for the season.

Materials & options

  • Wood-framed piers: Rock-solid fixed piers framed in marine-grade timber on driven piles, finished in wood or composite decking — ideal for most back-bay properties. Compare floating vs. fixed docks.
  • Composite piers & railings: Splinter-free composite decking with composite railings — a clean, low-maintenance finish that holds its color.
  • Aluminum piers & gangways: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum piers, grated decking, and gangways that let light through and never rot.
  • Floating docks (EZ-Dock): As an authorized EZ-Dock installer, we set modular floating docks, ramps, and PWC ports that ride the tide — great for kayaks and jet skis.
  • Dock repairs & maintenance: Broken boards, loose framing, failing pilings, storm damage, ladders, and fixtures — we repair and maintain existing docks so they stay safe and solid.
  • Decking replacement: Tired, splintered, or rotting boards replaced with new wood or composite decking — on docks, piers, and waterfront home decks.

Typical cost

Quoted per project. Dock pricing depends on length, decking (timber vs. composite), the number of piles, and add-ons like lifts, gangways, and slips. You get a clear, itemized written estimate after a free on-site measure.

Common questions

Do you build floating docks?

Yes — we build custom floating docks and are an authorized EZ-Dock dealer and installer for modular floating systems. Not sure which you need? Read floating vs. fixed docks.

Composite or wood decking?

Composite costs a little more up front but eliminates splinters and annual staining and holds its look for decades. We build beautiful docks in both.

Do I need a permit for a dock in Brigantine?

Yes — new docks generally require borough and NJDEP approvals. The property owner obtains the permits, and we assist you throughout the process. See the NJ dock permit guide.

Can you make my dock boat-lift ready?

Absolutely. We build lift-ready framing and, as a Hurricane Boat Lifts dealer, can drop a boat lift right in now or later.

How long does a dock take?

Permitting is the main variable. Once permits are in hand, the on-water build is often one to three weeks, weather and tides permitting.

Do you repair existing docks?

Yes — dock repairs and maintenance are a big part of what we do: broken or rotted boards, loose framing, failing pilings, storm damage, ladders, and fixtures.

Can you replace just the decking on my dock?

Yes — if the framing and pilings are sound, we can replace the decking with new wood or composite boards. We also re-deck waterfront home decks.

Do you build aluminum docks and gangways?

Yes — we build aluminum piers, grated aluminum decking, and aluminum gangways, including gangways down to floating docks.
